I know Yale will look at submitted scientific research papers. I’ve published a paper about economic policy at an International conference. Would this count as a scientific research supplement and should I submit it?

@medadvice I’ve published a paper on early Japanese foreign relations, so it’s not considered scientific research, but I am including my abstract in the “additional info” section. I wouldn’t consider economic policy as scientific research either, so maybe you could include your abstract elsewhere. “Scientific research” is only limited to fields in biology, physics, chemistry, neuroscience, (maybe) psychology, engineering, etcetc

I’ve published 4 papers to 2 scientific journals. You should definitely submit it. The only thing I have is basically research since I dedicated my whole high school career on research.

Not necessarily. If they find the topic/abstract compelling, they may dig into it. But one should not send full papers in for review. Send in a one-page abstract. Your app file shouldn’t contain some 30 pp. research paper.
