[Are you a native English speaker? – Come to Spain in Summer](http://www.morethanenglish.com/kidsandteensen/index.asp)

They have a volunteer program that’s open to teens 13-18 and is totally free, excluding airfare to/from Madrid. It seems really nice, since it’d be a nice chance to experience Spain, but I’m wondering if it’s legitimate. Anyone have any experience with them?

I was reading this - it sounds really cool - but if you know more than a few words in Spanish you aren’t allowed to apply. Bummer. I would think that most U.S. kids who want to go to Spain are people who are taking Spanish in school.

it’s only a week long and is completely inauthentic. I don’t see the point.

Oh, we had this kind of thing in a foreign country I lived in.
It was called English camp, where there were native English speakers in this area for a week and the students were hosted by American families.

Re:MidewestMom2Kids_

As long as you don’t mention it, and don’t speak in it while at the program, it’d probably be fine =P

Hey I am interested! Are u going?
