i opened it and it shows me an admitted students day page
I was deferred EA but now my status changed from decided to complete but I cant click on the complete button to see my result, does anyone know how to check?

S24, deferred from EA, just got accepted for pre-Ag & Biol Engg major at Purdue. This is his top choice! Portal change happened yesterday, so we had an inkling that his decision was due today.

Mine has been deferred since EA. No update.
Did anyone else’s child not enter the grades when submitting the common app? My son did not see that link until after submitting. He called the admissions office the next day and the staff member said that his transcript would “probably” suffice. I am wondering if that is why he has not heard? His status says “complete” but no decision has been offered.
My son entered everything, and the transcripts were submitted both at the time of app (RD) and at mid-year, plus he entered the mid-year grades as well, and…. The portal also shows “complete” and no decision.
The only school he’s applied to which so far has not produced a decision. I take it that in this unusual year they maybe chose a strategy to make decisions in batches. Still hoping to get a decision.

Thank you for giving me a little hope! Yes, it’s a very concerning process. It certainly has taken some of his excitement about Purdue away already, since he has read that it means you weren’t in their top choices, perhaps even their middle choices.

It’s not neccasarily bad that you haven’t heard back yet. I know 2 people who have been rejected in the last two waves already so acceptances could still be going out

If the Application Status is still Decided, does that mean rejected? EA deferred to RD. I have the below under Application:

No. It changes the day before decisions if your decision is ready. So if for example you got your decisions yesterday (Friday) the thing would have changed to completed on thursday

Decided? I applied EA and my application status went from “compete” to “decided” once my decision was viewable. Trying changing your link from “/apply/status” to “/apply/update”. You might be able to view the decision letter ahead of time.
This doesn’t work if you were deferred. Just shows you your deferral letter, smart though

I think this “tell” is only for deferred EA applicants. My son applied RD and has had “complete” since the end of Feb. My guess is that he’s been waitlisted if they’ve made a decision but haven’t announced it, since I’ve only seen people reporter being accepted and rejected this month.
