I was deferred EA and even till now my portal shows ‘Application Status: Decided’ and ‘View Your Decision’ button (It is the deferral letter). Any idea why hasn’t there been a single change in my portal after EA decision? Is it the same for anybody else?

i applied RD into supply chain management and sales engineering tech and I have my app as completed still. No clue when anything will come out

Does anyone know the chances of getting in after getting deffered for electrical and computer engineering? I sent a letter of continued interest.
Historically, Purdue filled in the engineering major from the EA predominantly. They officially recommended to go EA for that. The chance to get into Engineering from RD was low. However, this year they deferred a record number of the applications, so the chances gotta be higher.
Then again, only EA is considered for the merit scholarship. Anyone accepted from RD will have to pay the full sticker price.
I am also deferred from Engineering, patiently waiting on the final decision.

My sons portal has now changed to “complete” in the tan bar. This is different from last evening. He is at school so I will wait for him to check but has anyone else seen this change today? Definitely seems some decisions coming this Friday.
Mine changed to complete too. Hoping it’s not the rejection/waitlist week yet
I will wait for my son to get home for any decision letter however I did go to admitted students visits and I was able to choose a date for a visit which yesterday had said Purdue for me is only for admitted students. I think it’s a positive sign.
Me too I think. Does yours have a little yellow bar at the bottom if you try to register for a filled day?
We are engineering which has been filled for a while so I picked college of pharmacy and it let me choose dates. I assume they will be adding engineering dates in April ? Seems signing up for the visit is not limited to your major or school.
Yeah same. And I tried Indianapolis and it didn’t let me so I think it’s a good sign for west lafayette
Did you tap on a green date then on the link to the left of the calendar for that date with “Purdue is for Me?” Did it actually let you register? I get that far and then it says it’s for admitted students. Hope that’s not a bad sign.

Yes when I tapped on a green date and then on the available time it started to ask how many joint the visit, etc. Yesterday and prior it did not let me pick the available time - said for admitted students only. Our status changed from decided to complete about 8 am today.

If you can login for Admitted Students visit, it is a good sign. We were also able to login last Friday prior to decisions being released at 5pm EST where we found that S24 was admitted.
