Is it a disadvantage not to list a second major? I am struggling to write an authentic supplemental for a 2nd major I am not really interested in. It is my top choice school, but it is also at the top of my parents’ budget and requires the most travel out of all the schools on my list. I probably would not attend for anything other than my 1st choice major.
I don’t believe it’s a disadvantage.
My daughter chose not to list a second major. She also said if she didn’t get in for engineering, she’d go somewhere else.
Good luck!
Thank you! All of your posts have been so helpful!
It depends on your major. For example, if you’re majoring in Professional Flight, it is recommended not to list a second major if that is what you really want. Otherwise, you have to be ok being accepted to the second major and still want to go to Purdue.
