But there used to be âa decision has been madeâ or something similar under the âdecidedâ tab

What is everyone talking about, Iâm kind of confused
I can access it using my daughterâs login from two years ago and under her name it says â2024 Freshman Fallâ. She currently goes to Purdue and is not in CS nor in Business. Maybe it will say 2026 Freshman Fall if admitted.

agreed. There are not nearly enough ns on here to be definitive on anything, considering there were 10s of thousands of applications.
I was able to access the admitted Engineering student events for West Lafayette (and registered for one just in case 
) but not for Indianapolis. And it denied me on general admitted student walk-in events, but I could access the Chicago one from the link above. This could just be a coding issue and not really a sign.

A few things for tomorrow after more than a decade of Purdue admissions watching:
--admits are released before rejections. They usually start to flow around 2 or 3 PM EST, not 5. With the high number of applications, they could roll out earlier in the day.
â-deferrals have been increasing annually as Purdue works on yield management the past 5 years. If this is your first choice definitely let them know of your continued interest after taking a breather to digest the info and think what you can share to tip the scales. Deferred is not denied!!! They have you in the mix. It is not a soft decline like at some schools.
âpurdue Indianapolis is not the same as Purdue West Lafayette, no matter what Purdue says.
âif you did not have everything marked received by the Nov 1 deadline, you are not getting a decision tomorrow no matter what you think your portal astrology is telling you.
âPurdue has shifted its focus to high net worth areas on both coasts for OOS students. Full pay has sway for OOS applicants. High stats will not get you the merit other schools will offer you.
âPurdue is great, but so are hundreds and hundreds of other schools. Donât be a tool on here if you get in and donât beat yourself up if you donât get in. The numbers are not on your side for a variety of factors.

One thing different this year is some monkey business going on with the honors college. They are moving faculty into degree-granting depts but the depts are all âwe donât have budget for these peopleâ so the whole thing is fishy as heck. Profs who arenât picked up by a department are out of luck apparently. President Chiang is even less transparent than Daniels somehow.
