I hope not, was disappointed and surprised about clemson (deffered). Shame my gpa might be holding back my otherwise good (i think) application.

Purdue most definitely does not take the Clemson route. They have a holistic admission process. My D24 does not have the box and I just think it means a decision has been entered. Purdue really should not be considered a âsafetyâ for anyone and at the admissionâs meeting they stated this directly. They read all of the essays and can tell when someone thinks it is a safety and their Why Purdue essay doesnât show that the applicant cares about Purdue and is treating it as a safety. I donât know if it will happen this year, but in the past on the day the decisions are released it is easy to tell if you are accepted or deferred/denied, depending on how many tabs you have. That being said, decisions will be released soon. Iâm an alumna and Purdue is amazing, so best of luck to all!!! Itâs my D24âs third choice and she would be thrilled to attend!

Definitely donât consider anything a safety school as admissions is about the school putting together an entire entering class, and filling multiple needs. Would be grateful and thrilled to have Purdue as an option.
I would say donât get too caught up in box/no box. We donât know what it means, or how itâs being updated or loaded. Best of luck

Do you (or anyone else who does not have the gold box with completed) have a different box that says you met the early action deadline? Or is the page under the black box just empty?

The black box has a drop-down menu, but directly underneath the box is generic info about scholarships.

Thank you. On my childâs, the main page is as you describe. If we click to check application status, the next page is similar at top but has a statement about meeting the early action deadline and nothing else. There is no yellow box that says âcompletedâ on either page. Iâm curious if this is in the âno boxâ category or some third category.

What does the portal look like for folks where box has been changed? Could someone share the screenshot please?
If you scroll up the thread, there are a few pictures. I got thrown off by my â24 having top half of his main page look like one, but bottom half looking like bottom half of other with the scholarship info. But sounds like thatâs the bottom for all.

It was not my intent and iâm sorry. I was mainly trying to tell that my major is not as competitive as some others (flight etc) in that sentence, but I can tell how it came across poorly.

Does everyone currently have 5 tabs (dashboard, checklist, application, contact us, and Your name). I thought there used to be 6, but I canât think of the other one.
