Purdue, Northeastern Boston or RPI for computer science?

I am in between to make a decision for this fall season among these 3 …cost wise Purdue will cost almost double than RPI and Northeastern…in this scenario looking for suggestions

You must have a lot of need aid. Usually Purdue is less.

In general RPI has great outcomes. It’s a male skewing school.

Three good names. NU is co op oriented.

Good luck. Make sure you go where you can afford.

Thanks for your view. You are correct that Purdue is usually less for in-state. I am Out of state for Purdue so for me cost of Purdue is more with no grant/scholarship given by them whereas other two has given me scholarship/grant due to which my cost for them is almost half of Purdue OOS

Purdue is $40k OOS. Very cheap. So at $20k they have need aid. No bad choice.

Purdue cost for me is approx $51K (30 Tuition and 21 for room/meal and others)

How is Purdue $51K? OOS COA for for CS majors is $43K. The high end of fees puts it at $47K, including transportation and whatever else you could possibly add on.

That said, if RPI and NEU are 1/2 that, they are both great schools. My Purdue grad D loved RPI. Thought it felt like a small version of Purdue.

I’m guessing OP is international. I think Purdue charges an extra $3k to internationals?

For an undergraduate, you go where the bank account says you can go.

–What can your family comfortably afford?
–If you are an international student, is one school more of a known quantity in your home country?
–Do you have any preferences?

I am not international student and from preference perspective, looking for one which provides better prospect for higher studies (Grad) and jobs.

all will get you to grad school and all, at least in the previous year’s environments, have fine outcomes.

You, not the school, will likely get the job and no one knows what the future holds employment wise.

But these are three fine schools.
