So I was a freshman for this fall
I got admitted for UC Davis on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Prepharm on Purdue
As an international student I can’t really have a good compare on both universities
I went on the internet and stuff and saw that davis have a really great environment, but Purdue has offered me a six year program on PharmD, but no grantee on the professional program, so the workload might be a bit pressuring. Note that I’m not a really elite student and prob just got lucky to be admitted…
I can’t really decide where I will stay away from my country for 4-6 years, please help!!!
What is your career goal at this point? What type of degree do you need to reach that career goal?
If you’re certain about pharmacy, the Purdue option is an advantage.
UC Davis and Purdue are both great schools with a more rural, college town setting. Both are excellent agricultural science schools. Davis will be warmer.
I’m aiming for more than bachelor, and for now my career plan is to be a pharmacist, but my main struggle is purdue has no grantee on it’s professional program and i heard the acceptance rate is real low (150 out of 1000)… The two year prepharm does not offer a degree…
