The website does say merit decisions will be with admissions offer. Congrats to your son. Very impressive.
Sounds promising! My son only applied to Engineering and didn’t list a 2nd choice so there isn’t anything else showing in the drop down box.
No, but we have those 4 buttons the other post mentioned.
Historically merit and honors notifications occurred in February.
@justcheckingin Did your child apply to the honors college?
I am also seeing the whole new page with the buttons for letters, visit, next steps and view your decision.
Is anyone seeing the admitted students day and next steps for admitted applicants on their portal? Next to the view status button.
when clicking on decision tab it says … There is no update to your application status to report… looks like they will update later in the day.
To the parents on this thread: If you see an email from Purdue, let your child open it. When my D applied, it had e-confetti with a congratulations message but it only popped up the first time the email was opened. (Someone warned me in advance as they knew my D was tied up in a rehearsal and I was dying to know. Thankfully she checked during her break so I didn’t have to wait too long ; ).
Boiler Up!
Is there anyone who does not see the 4 buttons?
No changes visible here. Hoping that is not an indication.
@mcc1970, ours just popped up, wasn’t there 15 minutes ago
We only have the 2. Documents/letters and decision
My son said it has 4 buttons … middle 2 buttons have admitted students info and top and bottom are blank?
4 buttons just appeared. It took a while.
Is the presence of the four buttons definitively an acceptance?
I dont have any of those…?
be patient, they seem to be trickling out. It took almost an hour from the first discussion here until ours appeared.
Thanks!
Where did you see that? They are saying “mid-February” here:

I wonder if it is time zone sensitive. My buttons showed up around 7:50am eastern time.
Good luck to all those waiting to hear today - my son’s acceptance from last year popped up in my facebook feed. Purdue ended up being the one for him!! He’s in Engineering and looking to major in Industrial Engineering. We are from the Philly area. Highly recommend making the trek for the admitted students day and working a basketball game in to your trip if you can. We went last February and it sealed the deal!! Boiler Up!!
