Does Purdue use weighted GPA or unweighted GPA? Do they give more importance to GPA or SAT scores? What are the stats needed for Engineering?
You have to input your own grades from the transcript so that they can calculate your Core GPA. I’m not sure what method they use. But I would guess that they look at the Core GPA and test scores equally. Check out the Purdue data digest to drill down recent class stats
Students admitted to the College of Engineering for Fall 2017 had an average combined SAT in the middle 50% range of 1350-1470.
Of the students that enrolled, 50% had a GPA between a 3.94-4.0, and an ACT Composite of 30-34.
Now that was 2017 data… I would say that goes up at least 30 points on SAT scores to be in the middle.
Did everyone get a Season’s Greetings email today from Purdue Admissions Office? Son applied EA.

Does anybody know how housing assignments work at Purdue? How do you “get in line”?
ok, found the answer to own question on housing priority… there is none.
For the 2020-2021 Academic Year: The deadline for new students to University Residences to sign a housing contract and be guaranteed housing in University Residences is May 5, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. New students to University Residences who sign a housing contract by the May 5th deadline will be randomly prioritized in the housing assignment process.
Priority is NOT established by the date the housing contract is signed.

Has anybody seen anything different on their applicant portal?
When my son checked today, it did not change as far as his status, but he noticed on the top orange bar a link that said “Accept Your Offer”
He was not sure if that was there before or not. I dont recall seeing it.
No changes fo my D. I don’t see “accept your offer”
No changes to my status, but I have the “accept your offer” on my orange bar. My guess is that it doesn’t mean anything though because it shows up for me even before I log in to my portal.
Was the top orange bar there all along? DD noticed it in Dec and cannot remember if it was there before.
