Is merit sholarship info in the admission letter itself or elsewhere?
D accepted OOS to CS. 1550 SAT (one sitting) 3.96 UW/4.76 W IB Diploma @ top ranked HS in state. Lots of varied ECs going back 11 yrs. Sadly, no merit scholarships.
Will wait for fin aid package, but that likely knocks Purdue out of contention.

I got waitlisted for CS.
I see this in the Offer letter from Purdue. Not sure what that means.
“Please keep in mind that all Purdue admission offers are conditional, based upon the expectation that students will uphold the academic and personal conduct standards upon which they were admitted. The University reserves the right to rescind an admission offer if an individual’s circumstances warrant.”
I heard that for FYE engg, there is a weed out program. Is it the same for CS as well as CS does not belong to the Engg Dept.
I think that means that the students need to keep their grades up and not get into trouble for the rest of senior year, if not they can take their admission offer from you! Unfortunately I know someone who’s daughter got into one of our state universities and then got major “senioritis” and her grades dropped because she just didn’t care because she was in at X school! Well when her final transcripts were sent to the school they rescinded the offer.
@staycalm123 means you can relax a little, but are not allowed to screw too much in your last semester of high school. Congratulations!
@Beccanole72 @cowhorse Thanks so much. But there is so much confusion for the FYE program at Purdue and there’s this CODO that i thought same thing applied to CS as well. I understand that kids have to maintain their last semester grades for mostly all schools, many have similar policy as Purdue.
Financial aid not until February and usually their scholarships come out beforehand in December , very discouraging process
My son was accepted to Polytechnic! WooHoo! Has anyone tried to sign up for a “Purdue is for me” day? I’ve tried every day listed for Polytechnic and it looks they’re all full already?!
