Does anyone not have the change academic term link on their application portal? I have it (I also don’t have the cancel link), but I’m not understanding how it can mean something one way or the other.
No, it’s under “Profile and Academic Changes”. I’m not sure if it was always there or not? That’s also where “Cancel your application” was and is now missing. Tomorrow, yikes!
Not here as Purdue was a safety. Already got into Michigan so would be interesting to see if we get in to Purdue or not. But won’t be attending for sure.
Not sure if it means something or not but yes my DD’s portal now has two options in the drop down menu 1) Senior Year Courses 2) Other supporting materials in “Upload Documents” tab.
Also, not sure if it always had the two options or if one/both of them have popped up recently. Hence can’t say for sure if it really means anything. But ofcourse, if some people have them and others don’t, then probably it does mean something.
Hey everyone - unique perspective here! Mom of twins. One applied EA (with the higher of stats), the other just applied RD(I know, I know- last minute decision, lower stat kid).
Anyway, I have access to both portals. BOTH of them have the “Senior Year Courses” option in the upload documents drop-down list. For whatever it’s worth…
I did consider my EA kid to have a decent chance, because of the specific major she chose to apply to compared with the Data Digest average information and we are in state. I know Purdue is super competitive these days. But she did attend some on campus overnight events her junior year. I’d be a little surprised if she was rejected. But anything is possible.
Anyway, can’t wait until tomorrow so that we can all stop obsessing over these portal changes!
@mintchip123 Did you click on the arrow in the drop down menu box, where they may populate underneath once you do that? Not sure if it means anything either, but I just checked, and I have “senior year courses” and “other supporting materials” as well…
About 30 hours to go. Good luck to all. Purdue was the first school son visited; when he was a sophomore. Attended the Bowling camp (yes…bowling) there a couple years back and we piggy-backed an info session and tour into our time there. This past summer we went to a local Purdue info session (in PA) so my wife was able to attend that as well. She was very impressed. I think it’s one of two schools she’d be ok with him leaving the state for.
Thank you @droppingknowledge! I just clicked on the pull down menu and see the “senior year courses” and “other supporting materials.” You rule! You rock!!! Fingers & toes crossed that it’s good news for all!
