Just researched the Reply Forms tab in Reddit. The person who had it said he/she was denied to his/her original major and Purdue wanted him/her to either apply under an alternate major or waitlist himself/herself. However, it sounds like this tab popped up AFTER the admissions decision, so it might just be a fluke here.
ok thank you for the clarification @separatelayer
Daughter’s application status portal just updated “1/14/2020 Enrollment Deposit Fee $400 Waived”. Why would this be posted? Does it mean she is in? Not sure why few would be waived we are not low income?
Senior year courses is not listed on my son’s portal. Senior year courses were already reported on the original application so why would they be asking for that again whether you were accepted or not?
And this is your very first post in CC? Hmm…interesting.
Um, I just found this website as I was trying to find an answer to my question. Problem?!?
Problem - no. Suspicious - yes.
I’m confused. What are you suspicious of? I’m just a mom trying to figure out what it means. This is my first college student.
Thank you. I am totally confused. I have no idea what any of this means that’s why I am asking.
For everyone worried about things changing on the portal - that seems to be normal and not indicative of anything as the system prepares to release decisions. Happens every year.
Good luck to all and Boiler Up!
@justcheckingin only the fee was waived, so I don’t think that means anything yet, but you never know…just wait till tomorrow! 21 more hours! Good Luck!!!

Where exactly in the portal do you see it?
Under application status.
There are multiple tabs under application status, where exactly?
Checklist and Status
Thanks!
I see the “01/14/20 payment waived: 400.00 USD” too
If you don’t have financial need and see a “deposit waived” type message, could this indicate merit scholarship? That’s all that really makes sense to me. Maybe the merit money covers the deposit?
@jenn723 I’m going to assume this is true, given that you were admitted to ND. Surely you must qualify for good merit at Purdue.
That is kinda what I was thinking.
