Hi everyone, hoping to get some advice. I am completing a Letters Arts and Sciences associate’s degree at Penn State (60 credit hours) in Spring 2019, and am looking to pursue a bachelors degree related to computer science or information technology or digital media afterwards. My coursework is very non-specific unfortunately (please see the list below).
Would it be possible for me to add two more years at another university to complete this? What options should I look into?
Ideally this would be cheap tuition and the lowest amount of additional credits required. Currently in the Philadelphia area, but I am willing to relocate.
List of courses: ART 100 , ART211 , BBH 146 , BBH 203 , CAS 100A , CAS 203 , CAS 250 , CHEM 14 , ECON 2 , ECON 4 , ENGL 191 , ENGL 200 , ENGL 201 , ENGL 233 , ENGL15 , ENGL202 , ERM 210 , HIST 103 , MATH 140 , PHYS 211 , WMNST 194.
Your LAS degree looks like it covers most Gen Ed requirements, so all you would need to finish up with would be the coursework for the major. However, you should plan on three years in case you have some pre-reqs to fit into a specific sequence. Contact the transfer advisors who were responsible for placing people after your LAS program, and get some advice from them about where you could finish up with the major that you want.

@happymomof1 would this be people at my current college? Would they direct me to other colleges?
Yes. If your college awards Associates degrees, there should be a transfer advisor who is responsible for helping students transfer into other colleges and universitites. Since your AA program is at Penn State, at minimum, the advisors should be able to help you determine the best Penn State program to finish your degree at. If they are good at their job, they will also have ideas about other places that could work well for you.
