Put down that chocolate bunny!

What sugar does to your brain.

Wait…even the ears?

Isn’t there some exception for bunny ears?

Sorry…not going to give up my Easter candy! Not going to happen!

Not worried about what that chocolate bunny might do to the brain. More worried about the waistline. GOtta a lotta events and can’t afford not to fit in my clothes. And I’ve gained this winter.

Thumper, really, is that cannibalism?

To be honest, I’m not a chocolate bunny fan. But I love those malted milk ball eggs!

Emeraldkity, how do you know I’m eating a chocolate bunny instead of say…broccoli. You can’t know that, I tell you!

I’m just jealous right now of all of you eating those Easter treats when I’m on a diet and eating, say…broccoli.

Who says I’m not on a diet? @-)

I can give up chocolate bunnies (that chocolate is usually pretty bad) if I get an ice cream pass. Every night.

That first picture in the article is really, really creepy.

I thought we ate broccoli so we could eat the chocolate bunny? You know, not all bunnies are the same. You can still get the ones with pure chocolate and sugar, opposed to the ones with hydrogenated soybean oil, fructose, and eight different types of sugar. Those are healthy chocolate bunnies, and on Monday they’ll be 50% off!

I have the Sally Forth cartoons all over my refrigerator, the Easter version. Every year, Mom finds a different way to steal the bunny ears from her kids. So many great ideas there.

Luckily, I don’t like chocolate that much, especially after I finally seemed to have stopped hormonal cravings.
I do still eat a tiny square of dark chocolate every day, for medical purposes.
( seriously- it has cannabis in it. ;))
Now that we don’t have kids at home, no more Easter baskets, but I’m thinking of making baskets for the little kids who live behind us. Yesterday they were hiding them for each other in their yard.

No chocolate bunnies for me but I cannot resist those coconut cream eggs. Yum.

Our chocolate bunnies come from a local fabulous chocolate place. We don’t get candy often…so this is a huge treat!

@thumper1 - with your user name, doesn’t eating chocolate bunnies border on cannibalism?

Only eggs I’m eating are the hardboiled ones. Have 6 dozen done for S’s friend to come color tonight. Had to get more, when he told me how many kids were coming. THought that part of my life was over. Only did 3 dozen last year and that with two moms here.

But I have a bunch of Peeps! Got them on sale, and I love Peeps. Pure sugar so the brain cells will suffer, but I don’t care. That and bunny food and hardboiled eggs, no chocolate bunnies, though I might sneak a chocolate egg, a little one.

I ate a neon blue Peeps that someone left in our break room at work the other day and I decided it was disgusting. I think it was the color that put it over the top. I love the marshmallow Cadbury eggs. I also scored some pastel M&Ms at work. They try to make sure we don’t starve!

Yesterday a woman from a local chocolate shop was on the news demonstrating how to make chocolate covered peeps. They are called Peeps in a Puddle. Yummy.

I LOVE the crème filled Cadbury eggs. Any time of the year. I don’t crave sweets at all, but at the QFC I shop at, they put those eggs right by the cash register. Torture.
