is it possible to put them inside your closet?
i know it sounds weird lol but there’s really no other place to store it. and im a sophomore living in a Unit 2 double again so don’t tell me to try alternatives. ive been through them all. soo, all im asking is whether it is bad to stick it in. FYI: my clothes will be hanging on top of it and the drawer thingy will be on the other side.

If that’s the ONLY other place to put it, I don’t see what’s wrong… Just be sure not to let the clothes touch the microwave or it might start a fire…

Umm, I wouldn’t do it, for the reasons posted above, but I don’t think you’re in any immediate danger. I don’t understand how you can say that you have no alternatives. You’re living in a double…people in triples fit fridge and microwave, so I don’t see how you can’t.

you can’t fit a fridge/microwave in a double?!?

Last year a triple on our floor had two fridges, two microwaves, a TV along with a complete drum set. Keep in mind this is also Unit 3 (we don’t have real closets)

Do not put refridge and microwave in a closet. Both of them put out a lot of heat, especially refridge. Most refridge instructions would tell you to make sure it’s a few inches away from the wall and has adequate ventilation. You could damage the equipment or start a fire.

Wow a drum set!!! I can’t even imagine fitting that all in, unless everything was super mini. Also have there ever been fires in the Units that were caused by appliances not allowed.

Bad idea due to poor heat transfer, especially when it comes to the fridge. That cold goodness doesn’t come from nowhere.

Think of those hotel fridges. Ever feel around or behind it? Hot as ■■■. You don’t want that kind of risk with an appliance you own, especially since most of our fridges have a freezer compartment.

most people put their fridges at the foot of their bed. theres lots of room there. so just put your fridge there, and your microwave on top of it.
