Putting AU as #1 for NMF?

<p>Is the Deans’ Scholarship or Presidential Scholarship tied in at all to designating AU as your first choice to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation?</p>

<p>It's been a while since I've was at AU (1995 grad), but back then, National Merit Finalists who put AU as #1 automatically received scholarships that exceeded both the Dean's Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship. I would be surprised if this was not still the case, as AU is more competitive than ever when it comes to National Merit Finalists.</p>

<p>There is no scholarship that exceeds the presidential scholarship. AU discontinued full tuition scholarships 2 or 3 years ago. The maximum non need based that you can get now is the 25K which is still very good. I think as an NMF, you would be in good shape for that one.</p>
