putting down "french Honors Society" for Junior year even if I'm not involved later?

<p>Long story short, I have taken 5 years of french, but after two years with the same strict/unhelpful teacher, I realized that I would blow my brains out if I had to be in that class for AP French Language. This disqualifies me to be honored for it at my graduation BUT, can I list it as an “Honor” on my college application, only for junior year? Would it be looked down upon?</p>

<p>While we’re at it: last year I received several letters from Science Honors Society (more than normal) because I guess I was being recruited or something…I didn’t join because I didn’t particularly want to take the time, but I figure if I’m not involved with French Honors Society I can take up Science honors society this year. However the whole induction and everything is only in december, and I’m applying to my first college in late october for early action- Should i list it?</p>

<p>It’s OK to put French Honor Soc for jr year only. And it’s OK to mark activities that you haven’t done yet. That’s why there’s a place to mark things you do Sr year, don’t they even give you the choice of PG (post-grad)? </p>

<p>Think about it, does it make sense that someone doing a fall sport can mark all four years but someone participating in a spring sport can only mark three? Colleges know that you are projecting what you’re going to do. And if for some reason you don’t do something you marked, you send schools an update.</p>
