[Q] How SAT scores are graded.

So looking at my score report for December SAT, for math section, it says i got a 710 with 3 wrong (no blanks) whereas my friend also got 3 wrong (no blanks) yet got a 720. Is that even possible?

If the three questions you got wrong were in the multiple choice section and your friend missed questions in the grid-in section, it is possible. There is no quarter-point deduction on the grid-in questions.

no it would show up as blank on score report. we both only had 3 incorrect, yet different scores.

go to the college board site and under SAT they have a section that tells you exactly how they grade
