Here is a link to their site: [Student Membership | Wellgates Scholar](http://www.wellgates.org)

While searching around on the internet for “Wellgates Scholar Program,” I find many people thinking it is a scam etc. I also found this through Arizona’s .edu site: [Awards and Accolades<a href=“see%20under” title=“Cliff Johns”>/url.

Aren’t there anyone else here who know anything about Wellgates, whether they are real or not? Thank you for your replies.

The first two results from searching “wellgates” on google is sending up a red flag for me. The first two posts are “is it a scam?” posts on web forums and the third one is the actual site.

Personally, I’d stay away. But it is totally up to you.

First of all, the person contacting is named Linda Miller. One person I know who now apparently is a Wellgates contact wrote this to me:

After searching around some, I found more info about getting info about things. I used [WhoIs combined with WhitePages etc to try to find out information.

The number listed on the website name (Wellgates.org](http://www.WhoIs.com)) is listed under 3 other things on WhitePages as you can see in the picture above (see link).

The website itself is registered in Scottsdale, Arizona (Full address: 15111 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, Maricopa, Arizona 85260).

I really do not know any better ways to investigate this even further, so if someone of you do, please help out. Thank you.
