Q: why tufts A: study abroad - specific enough?

For the “why tufts” 50 word question, would it be specific enough to say that i want to go to tufts because of the study abroad programs? It really is why I want to go there. Also because 40-45% of the students study abroad, which makes me feel like I would be with students who shared my interests (I’m having trouble articulating that).

Or is this not specific enough?

I have a feeling that’s not quite the right way to say it. It sounds kind of strange saying you want to go there so you can leave to go somewhere else.

Eeek, I didn’t even realize that. Thanks!

I’ll decline answering the specifics of the original question, but I’ll address the advice from the Hammer.

I think the message you were trying to convey is that you’d like to be around people who understand the value of “leaving.” That’s a great point to make (if you can articulate it in the way you intend).

I wrote my Why Tufts about the international perspective at Tufts and the fantastic Study Abroad program that they have.

I thought it was ok >_>
