Hello,

I am applying to Georgetown University in Qatar in which I’m applying aid for. In addition to that, I am applying through the Qatar Foundation for a need-based loan. However, I have a question regarding the bank statements. It says that they need an official-up-to-date stamped bank statement. If my parents’ banks cannot provide the stamps, how will this affect my application?

I am guessing they won’t look at your application unitl you provide the necessary documents. Any bank should surely be able to verify a bank statement by giving it some kind of official stamp, seal, or signature. If in doubt, submit yiur applicstion and call the foundation’s office on Monday.
