Qs about Math&Physics AP course

Hello,
I am an international student from shanghai, china. so I don’t have any sense about AP coures.
What is the context of the Math and Physics course?
the depth, the wideth or difficulty?

hello MengZhe! Which school in Shanghai are you from?.. just curious…I am from Shanghai too!
As for your question, AP Math (Calculus) has two levels- Calc AB and BC. These courses cover a very wide range of information but not much in depth. I don’t think schools in china usually teach these. If you’ve studied some calculus on your own, the AP Calc should be fairly easy. The topic for Calculus BC includes: limits, derivative in depth, integral in depth, polar/parametric, sequence and serise or something else, of which I don’t remember. AP Physics also has two levels: B and C. Physics B should be pretty easy for chinese students, just normal stuff. Physics C, however, uses a lot of calculus and goes beyond chinese high school, I think.
