<p>So where are the designated loading/unloading areas for the upper quad? My son says that temporary parking is not allowed in any of the spaces near his building. So when he left campus on Friday to visit friends in Birmingham for the weekend he carried his stuff on the tiger transit to the resident overflow lot where his car is. Surely there are some transient parking places close to the dorms?</p>
<p>I can answer my own question now. My son discovered that there are a handful of transient parking spaces on the Broun Hall side of the Quad Center that can be used for loading/unloading.</p>
<p>We understood you can park anywhere after 5pm.</p>
