Quad scull rowing at USC?

Whats the rowing program like for female USC scullers? I am an international not looking to row in an 8 (one oar), but in a Quad Scull Boat (4 rowers 8 oars). I will be rowing varsity. What is the USC rowing program like for scullers or are there better ones out there?

Hello,
At SC women’s rowing is a varsity sport on the D-! level. That is the top level in sports for the NCAA. This means the teams play a major schedule, have coaches, use of weight rooms and access to USC’s sports medical physicians. Women rowers are under the regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

The women’s team came in last year 5th in the United States. Already recruited are five top women from across the country who have signed with USC. SC has a proud tradition in athletics. The women are both athletes and meet the academic standards. An athlete must be at the highest level of high school rowers to be recruited by SC. However, international candidates may contact the department for more information.

You are asking questions when the university is closed for the holidays. Here is the California number for the USC rowing office: 213 740 3830. Here is the e-mail address for the rowing head coach: zbabraj@usc.edu .

What is your high school year? The university has an athletic website: University of Southern California Official Athletic Site. Click on that. Enter the site. The list of women’s sports is on the right side. Click on women’s rowing. You will see photos of the team members and more information about their achievements. You will learn more than I can include on this post.
