quality of life

How is it living in a triple? How often does one request a double and ends up w/ a triple? I requested a double in a themed res hall and i am afraid that housing would put me in a triple. i can afford a plaza if it’s much better. i am a person who likes peace and space.

also could living in a special themed res hall (like one promoting health) enhance a resume for grad school, esp med school? lol a side question…

also i hear that ucla is very crowded and there is ppl (and noise?) everywhere. some claim that places to study is scarce. even the libraries are full. is that true? where is the “secret” place to study in peace?

Basically you’re in a triple unless you have a medical excuse, sorry. If you like peace and space, you should definately aim for a plaza, even a suite. The suites will be predominately freshmen next year anyway. The campus is very crowded during the days and the libraries are pretty full, but there are millions of spots to study, so it’s not that big of a deal.

^agreed. THe hard part about studying is not finding a quiet place; its finding the willpower to sit down for a couple hours and not get distracted.
