<p>How good are the English and International Affairs departments at NYU, Carnegie Mellon, and Penn State? I know that NYU has an honors IA program, but that’s about it. Any details would be much appreciated.</p>
<p>NYU simply because of location is going to be better for International Affairs/Relations than CMU or Penn State.</p>
<p>A lot of getting a job in IA/IR is connections and internships, so being in New York City, right by the UN, can’t hurt.</p>
