My son has an aptitude for math, but (for now) wants to an academic program that would allow him to combine math/statistics and political science–essentially a quantitative political science major.
His core stats are:
GPA: 3.8 (U); 4.2 (W). Currently, he is in the top 15% of his private school class, for which top 20-25% typically get admitted to top schools.
SAT: 1540 --Math-800; English-740 (one sitting at the beginning of junior year). Plans to take SAT one additional time. Top SAT II scores in math and several other subjects.
AP: By graduation, 10 AP classes, including Calculus BC and Statistics. Taking multivariable calculus senior year.
Recommendation for matching schools for someone with these stats and academic interests are welcome.
