I was wondering if anyone had opinions on Queens College. It’s the same one that people such as Jerry Seinfeld and Ray Romano attended. The price seems to shockingly be like 5,000$ a year and that’s it. Does anyone have information on it?

Does anyone have an opinion?

Actually, it’s less than $5K a year. Its a little over $2,000 a semester. Queens College is part of the City University of New York (CUNY). It’s a pretty decent school for anywho who plans to stay home after high school and commute to college. While the selectivity seems to be almost non-existent (you only need about an 80/100 high school GPA and around a 1000/1600 SAT score to say you’re in), the school shouldn’t be regarded as lacking rigor. Queens College attempts to challenge their students, but its obviously not Harvard. If tuition and a commuter college is what you’re looking into, I’d say go with Baruch (also a CUNY), you’ll probably have a better experience but it’s a more business-oriented school. The only CUNYs that offer dorming is Hunter College (which is only for it’s Honors students) and the City College of New York (school looks like a castle but it’s in Harlem, two subway stops away from Columbia University).

And by the way, Jerry Seinfeld and Ray Romano were locals…who commuted, Queens College really has nothing to do with their Hollywood success (I highly doubt it). Jerry Springer also went to Queens College…as he did my elementary, Jr & Sr. High School.

hahahahahaha i thought queens college was made up on seinfeld.

iiiiiim smart.

i mean, george costanza went there too.

Trivia: Elaine went to Tufts, which she called her safety school.

yay thank you for knowing this!!!

i wish i could list trivia as an ec. or watching seinfeld too much.

“how can one man know so much about nothing?”
