Hey guys, I’m having a difficult time in deciding which school would be the better choice if I want to pursue business as undergrad and eventually an MBA at an Ivy League!

Which university do you think is the better one to choose? Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in Canada for Commerce (very competitive - high averages, need great essays, teacher rec’s, and EC’s, ranked one of the most prestigious universities in Canada) or Cornell’s hotel school? I personally don’t like that image of going to a “hotel” school, but I think I have a good chance at both universities!

So if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

From what I’ve heard, Cornell’s hotel management program is awesome. Here in Canada, though, Queen’s commerce also has an amazing reputation. It is really tough to get in and applicants with really high averages are rejected.

Queen’s tuition will be a lot cheaper than Cornell’s, and since you don’t like the “image” of going to hotel school (which I don’t see how there’s anything wrong with that, but that’s just me), then go to Queen’s! You’ll love the campus-it’s so beautiful (but Cornell’s campus is undoubtedly fantastic too)
