In terms of how hard it is too get in. What American University would it compare tod?

i don’t know if you are talking about Queen’s University in Ontario Canada, or some other University…
but if you are talking about Queen’s University in Canada (Kingston, Ontario) then i may be able to help you out
Queen’s University is one of the best in Canada and so it is comparitively more difficult to gain admission as compared to other Canadian schools like say Lakehead or Brock.
Queen’s University looks mainly at your high school GPA! and maybe SAT scores, i believe that if you are an international student, you have an edge, b/c Queen’s lack international students.
interms of another school in America, i would say it can compare to Cornell or Emory. Although not as reputable as Cornell, Queen’s is a prestigious and academically challenging school.

i think thats a pretty good analysis!

what program at queen’s are you considering? commerce is one of the hardest to get into, and many argue it is the top business program in canada…personally I don’t think that, but its definitely a challenging and great program. queens is a tight knit community and there’s campus life.

Yeah, Queens is known as tight-knit, wealthy, WASPish, with smart people… It to Canada is sort of like what Princeton is to the US

I believe Queens is also one of the few Canadian universities that requires a personal statement (talking about your interests, volunteer experience, etc.)
