<p>I can’t even skip school like Sheed; More than one absent equals to “no more A’s no matter how high your scores are” in my school. I hope colleges would take into consideration that we have such a short amount of time to prepare huge loads of works…I’m scared that they might think “You guys should have worked on the applications (w/ supplements) ahead, even before the finalists were announced”…Man, seriously, my essays would literally be “bad” compared to essays of those who have spent all their summer+additional school days only to prepare for one college (early admission)</p>

<p>okay so apparently Stanford REQUIRES You to Fax the financial info. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH NO ACCESS (It’ll cost me 23 dollars to fax it at Kinkos…that’s a lot of money!)</p>

I’m going to start at like 11am-11pm and hopefully send my application by 11:59pm pacific time. That will basically be 3 days before the deadline which suits me very well. (realistically i’ll be sending at like 5am tomorrow morning)</p>

<p>Hey just got this email from Yale QB - thought I’d post just in case</p>
<p>"We have received many faxes from applicants. However, we know that a few students are having difficulties sending their forms via fax due to busy signals or other problems. If you believe that you have not been able to successfully send us a fax, please try again to either of these fax numbers: (203) 432-9392 or (203) 432-9370. Please send documents to only one fax machine. </p>
<p>Also, if you have already submitted these forms, please do not resend them. We have received most financial aid forms from our applicants."…</p>
<p>D finally faxed yesterday to a different # she found on website after trying a couple of hours to original #'s, so I callled just now to see if that # was okay, and the lady just said “that is a fax # in our office” and “no don’t try to send again to another #” and if I wanted to know if it got there, “call back November 15th.” Think D will send hard copy tommorrow anyways. 
Oh, and “I don’t know why everybody waits till the last minute to send it” I tried to explain to her we just found out, but she was aggravated, so I just said thank you. I’m sure they are swamped beyond belief!</p>
