finished with activities short answer…

Send CSS profile?

I thought we were supposed to print it out and fax it?

Only for Yale. You send it online for the others i think…

on the fee wavier section in the yale supplements it asks to upload a document providing financial income…

do we include that AND put questbridge finalist? because that’s how all our application fees are waived anyway right? doesn’t matter if our family income is higher than the usual fee wavier limit.

Do Stanford and Yale still look at the QB app?

How bad is my chance at Stanford using this graph

WELL GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. NOV. 1/2 IS APPROACHING and NOV. 30 is not too far.

Question, if we were to get accepted to all of the colleges that we ranked (not likely, but just wondering), would we be able to see which colleges that accepted us and determine which university we’d like to attend?

For instance, if I ranked Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and Columbia in that order, would I be able to pick and choose which university I’d enroll in? Or do we just hear back from our highest ranked college even if we gain acceptance elsewhere?

If the latter is the case, would we have to reapply to hear back from the lower-ranked colleges?

I know that these questions might not have been articulated very well, but it’s late. -_-

haha it’s ok sprtsman14, I know what you mean ;)

I think it is the latter. you are only MATCHED TO ONE SCHOOL. you can, however, still change your rankings, so if you let’s say now you want to go to Yale as your first choice, you can contact Questbridge and have them change it.

oh and the colleges will never know what order you put them in, only questbridge has that ranking :)

I hope they release the statistics on questbridge finalists this year. I know some people at my school who got in with “mediocre” academics and non-low income circumstances. I’m beginning to think everyone got in this thing, which ruins the exclusiveness of the program. I’d rather be rejected by a selective institution than be accepted in a undiscerning one.

true dat…

And i think we’re only given the admission decision of our top ranked school.

knguyen142 the exclusiveness of the program comes into play during the actual match where very few are matched to the ivy league colleges. There were 800 for the college prep and only like 10 actually got the free summer program. And I know kids from my school with less than stellar everything that got finalist too but that doesn’t mean they are going to get into Yale, Princeton etc. Actually the only ones posting here from my state that I actually think have a shot at their matches are GAMOM’s daughter (Amherst) and skrugger24 (an Ivy)

still going strong (god staying up 24 hours sucks)…School finished at 1:45 today for me, so i’ll come home and sleep and then send in everything before 12am… WOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

Act like it’s Christmas
and put me on your wish list!

(i got rhymes bra)

What did you write for the intellectual vitality essay and the note one?

I am working on them right now. It’s going to take me all day ><

I reused a questbridge essay about my interest n neuroscience.= and how i would like to continue my research

When you guys uploaded the document? What did u put in the document besides the essay?

Is there a specific heading

I just put my name and then the essay. Is that fine?

I put name, high school, and city—I called Yale about supp information, and that’s how they told me to head my papers

city of the high school or where you live?
