<p>A sense of belonging and friendship are feelings I associate with Yale’s residential college system. Having come from an urban part of NYC, I haven’t experienced a sense of community. Yale would offer me amazing research opportunities, through facilities like the Positron Emission Topography Center.</p>
<p>D was done with everything by Sunday, but I still had financial stuff to mail out, got that done today and she even made me request a “confimation receipt” from the post office for Amherst so she would be 100% sure they got it. 30 days and counting…</p>

<p>Yes, she did just the 3, and you know which she is hoping for! Efficient yes when it is something important, otherwise, not so much. So they would not let you add Am?</p>
<p>no, apparently they sent the Questbridge application out to the partner schools right after (or possibly before) the finalist status was announced because I called a few schools and it seemed like they already had my Questbridge application on file!</p>
<p>but I think my chances of actually matched are not very high 
so it’s ok, plenty of chances for Am lol ;)</p>

<p>Diversity open house at Amherst, Google2008 and my D were both there in Sept. for 3 days, and they were told that chances were 75% of getting admitted RD, and that is my D’s #1 choice by far!</p>
