Hello, guys!
So I just received a grim email from Yale that it didn’t receive my application. Of course, I DID sumit both common and supplement by the deadline. Yale says it might be that I didn’t request the fee waiver right but I’m pretty sure I did the right procedure. My common app account says “you have selected a fee waiver for this school.” Has anyone else got this email? Can you help me figure out what I did wrong?

I got the same email.
You need to go into the payments section (underneath supplements) and click on fee waiver for all QB schools.

Yeah, it sucks. Especially when this part is mentioned like NEVER.
But don’t worry, Yale says we’ll be fine.

I got a confirmation saying Yale received my application…

I got the same email. I asked Yale to double check it, since it does say they downloaded it already.

Thanks
You guys are really helpful

Got a reply from Yale. They checked their system again and confirmed that I did indeed submit my application in time.

hello all, i sent my application mailed on october 25, 2007 and still no reply any ideas, when did u guys get back word of apps. recieved

i have no idea…

Columbia just extended their deadline, which is really strange because they should have said this a while ago. Maybe a low applicant amount?

Yeah I’m P*&#ed about that because it’s my number one choice and I finished everything except the financial aid info in mid Sept.

ya grtskt89, I am quite upset too!!! They should have let us know EARLIER!

Wait does it really matter? Didn’t most people turn it in on time anyways?

So did everyone get that email that ranked them on QB?

Probably and over on the FB group someone had already said “oh good now I’m going to finish the application for Columbia”. I’m guessing there were more that didn’t have the greatest time management skills, which I would think a University like Columbia would have valued. You know I’m just really frustrated because this happened with TASP and other programs that say they have strict deadlines - well if anyone is researching this in the future, say for 2009 and beyond - my advice is not to worry because the slackers always get a break.

Email that ranked us?

Email that ranked us? No, sorry that might have sounded weird, what i was wondering was whether everyone that ranked Columbia got an email…

Yes I ranked Columbia

yea…

I really wonder how many people ranked Princeton/Yale/Columbia

at least like 1500
