Questbridge Scholarship - 2008

I hate that we have to pay for CSS Profile and test scores…but i don’t know why i’m complaining.

If I ask tec’ rec again…my teacher really will be upset…I ask for QB+QB finalist+few RD schools…and previous summer program…gosh…4 times already…last time my teacher already said “this is going to be the last time”…gonna to kill me…I can do application and everything again, at least they are all MY part…but tea’ rec…annoyed…

ohyeah, do not your teachers have the rec saved on their computer? Most of the rec’s can be used by commom app teacher rec, so D is just printing them off, then they can just print off rec, put in appropriate college name and attach rec. She was scared to ask them today, but they both love her (thank goodness) and seemed to take it well. I’m sure your teachers want the best for you and will do it! Oh, and I am baking more “gratitude” cookies right now! Good luck!

haha ohyeah, same here. I have already asked for a lot and I am doing a lot of non QB schools. I am sure my teachers won’t mind writing me more letters, but the Secondary School Reports need to be done by the counselor and my counselors to tell you the truth just dont’ care. :(

wait GA2012MOM, which schools told you that they needed all the supplement informations? The email I got from Amherst says only transcript and score reports. Teacher recs ONLY if they were not included in the questbrdige app.

hi google2008, D never got email from Amherst , hmmm, is that bad? But she had me call some RD schools today, and they said basically that the QB app is like the common app, so do the supp, and send all other necessary materials. I didn’t call all schools, I just figure, send everything to all to be safe. D says hi.
I tried to call QB to confirm this and couldn’t get through, but I’ll try tommorrow.

I’m getting seriously antsy and I don’t think it’s healthy. For those who are curious, it’s about 91 hours until notification… or about three days and 19 hours.

91 of the longest hours of MY life :(

Good luck everyone~

oh my now we are counting in hours :stuck_out_tongue: and haha I have a princeton interview tomorow, think that will count for questbridge or is too late? Or I can juse do it for RD.

GA2012MOM, I only selected Amherst for Regular Decision, and since your daughter did the match, she wouldn’t have gotten anything. ya I am going to call some other QB schools too, but I already heard back from Amherst and Rice and they both said transcript and test scores only.

Wow I haven’t received any interview requests…I feel so left out.

Eh, I wasn’t contacted for any interviews either.
There’s nothing much we can do now but wait.

We should totally compile a list of Q/A for Questbridge. The process itself is very confusing and the site isn’t all that informative.

85 hours

Thanks GAmom and google~~I will ask, and I HAVE TO ask…God loves us…

71 hours .

O yea, i had a question. So let’s say we get the full ride…do we still get like the Pell Grant and federal aid stuff if we qualify?

whats the exactly time the result comes out? Friday 5:00PM? which time zone?

The program is based in Palo Alto CA so it’s probably Pacific time. Also, it says so here [National College Match Program: FAQ](http://www.questbridge.org/students/faqs.html#s3q12)

Arrgg, no. That’ll be 9pm here. :(

I think it is eastern time though, because that’s when the app closed and everything.

It says 4pm PST, which means Pacific Standard time which means west coast.

Where’d you get 4pm?
