I’m hoping that we can send a new common app / supplement for Princeton and Yale. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Hey everyone that got “rejected” join the new facebook group Questbridge Regular Decision Applicants.

I don’t think you can said a NEW common application because it’s locked online. But you could always do a paper one I guess…I know that Bowdoin emailed me and said I had to resend everything.

I dont think its lockec online. I think you can send out versions now.

I dont’ think you can resend a new app for the schools you already sent one for. It just doens’t make sense. They already made a file for you and I doubt they will make another one.

(mom of sad son) kyledavid, we also knew it was a crapshoot and know that RD is our best chance, but it’s still hard to watch him(my son) say he “really didn’t care” and leave to “go hang with my friends”. FYI. Three kids from our town did Questbridge (2 from the same school) and my sons friend got matched to Columbia. It was hard reading both emails. All his stats were lower than my sons but he’s an incredible kid!

yea karagon7, I think a lot about the Match is the whole package, not just about the stats

btw question, I checked my Yale page and saw that my teacher rec went from “recieved” to “not recieved”…what’s up with that!!! apparantly it WAS there and now it’s not :(

We got the same email from Yale and I know they were sent.

anybody matched with Stanford

(still mom)Please, please, do not regard this question as racial, but I’m wondering how many MATCHES on here were “not” a minority? My son is half white/hispanic, but put white on his app. His friend came to Calif. from Mexico 6 years ago and got matched. Do you think it mattered? I believe this post may help sme future applicants.

Is the AIM Questbridge chatroom still going on? And if so, how do I access it?

Scratch that - I just made up one named questbridge, and had it already existed, the AIM service should’ve given me an error, right?

Sorry I’m a bit spazzy from still having no news.

Iwas in charge of that chatroom. I closed it. Do you want me to restart it?

No, it’s okay - I think that the 4-6 PM frenzy period is past now, haha. Thanks for the offer. I guess I’ll call QB (hopefully they’re still there?.. and picking up?) if I get nothing after 8 PM.

What schools did you rank?

I’m listening to the machine thing right now. I ranked Yale and Stanford.

Just left a message for their office. It’s hard - I’d like to know now, regardless of whatever my status is.

ya karagon7, I want to know too

again, please dont’ think I am racist or anything because I am really really not. but how many were non-asian. it somehow seems like asian people are getting the shorter stick here.

For those of you wondering . . . this is from the QB RD Table.

“Students who have already submitted the Common Application to Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, and/or Yale will automatically be considered for Regular Decision. There is no need to contact their admissions offices. If you have submitted your Common Application to any of those colleges but do not wish to be considered for Regular Decision, you will need to contact the appropriate admissions offices to withdraw your application.”

I heard always not many asians are matched…disadvantage always…

Well I’d like to know the schools they go to, the scores, etc. etc. lol!!! I want to know everything. But I guess we’ll have to wait for that cute little pie chart that will come out on the QB site …but they never list the high schools do they?
They just list Race, Income, 1st generation.

Asian mixed matched here @ Pton.
