Hey… I sent an application to Princeton/Yale for questbridge college match, but I haven’t received an interview… does this mean something? (Btw, I live near fairly big cities in the north east, I doubt there is a shortage of alumni… especially after this long).

ya Celita, same here.

I haven’t gotten an interview for Yale yet even though it is obvious that there are interviewerS around here because all my friends got interviewed and they all had different people too.

I was going to call on monday…ya

YES , accepted to Upitt Honors! Still waiting on other schools and Pomona ED II.

Congratulations, collegehopeful!

let me knoww what you hear google.

Don’t worry. I was never called for a Yale interview but I was matched.

I just got an email for a Yale interview - does anyone know when the interview deadline is?

Celita, they just told me to wait, and an interviewer called me shortly after.

grtskt89- The Yale Alumni interview forms have to be sent in by Feb 15th. We got this info from my sons interviewer. His interview is tomorrow. I do not think they will schedule anthing after this date. Good luck to all!

did anyone get interviewed for columbia? I haven’t heard anything from them.

The 2007 profiles have been added to the site for anyone who’s interested. They haven’t updated the number of apps/finalists yet though.

An interesting article from the Yale Daily News on QB:

[Yale Daily News - QuestBridge brings new faces to Yale](http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/23109)

According to their report, 3800 applicants, 1792 finalists, and 204 matches.

Yale received 1123 applications for the match scholarship, and 885 were completed by the deadline (common app + supplement). 19 were matched.

For those who applied to Princeton/Yale but did not get matched: did you have to send an email to be considered for regular decision? Or did they automatically enter you into the pool?

Well I indicated on my Questbridge app for my app to be forwarded to be considered regular decision, and my status at Yale has been maintained as all materials received… so in that sense I think it was automatic. I was also interviewed after finding out I wasn’t matched, so I’m still being considered I suppose.

Hey QuestBridge buddies,
just wanted to share my excitement. I got into USC. I know its not an Ivy or that great but im soo happy. Does anyone know if they have good fin aid?

Congratulations! Not sure about the fin aid though.

Socialfreak:
Congrats as well!! Are you from Calif? Were you a QB finalist? It’s a wonderful school. (Rich, rich, rich) Can’t compete with the cars in the parking lot at the games. :)

I got into USC too!! and being accepted this early means that we are up for Trustees or Presidential scholarships- full or half tuition!

karagon,
I am from southern calif. and a QB Finalist.

mr. Tubbz, My Sat is a 2050, not top percent at all, which means I wont be able to compete for the Trustees, or so i heard. Do u know if there are any other scholarships I can get with my average SAT??
