i have a question…
I’ve emailed Amherst long time ago to notify them that I’ll like to continue for the RD but never heard back from them…
Do you guys think they’ll accept my supplement, which i mailed it to them few days ago, and still consider me for the regular decision process?

Or do you think it’s necessary that I call Amherst since I’m not so sure if they read my email and if QuestBridge forwarded my QB app to Amherst?

Did you guys get any response back from Amherst when you guys emailed them?

I suggest you call them later on, but as long as you have already sent everything in, just be happy and hope that everything is in order. Im sure they will have no problem including you in their decisions.

It should disqualify you but many (looking on FB group) did it and most of them didn’t get matched through QB. And based on the reaction I got here when I called someone out on it I don’t think anyone really cares.

Why would it disqualify me? I applied ED II. The application was due yesterday and it explicitly says QB finalists are allowed to apply ED II on the QB website.

Plus Pomona sent me a letter asking me if I wanted to apply RD or ED II. The letter was tailored specifically for QB finalists so I know its allowed.

yeah not ED II but one girl applied ED to Dartmouth (got in) and Georgetown (SCEA - got in). When I emailed her about it she didn’t really care and honestly I don’t think the colleges will either.

Good luck with all your applications, Sheed. You’ve got a great personality and some school is going to be very lucky to have you.

It’s been fun following this thread over the months. I hope everyone posts when they get acceptances, whether QB or not. It will be nice to hear where all of you end up going.
