WOW! congratulations

Congratulations, aeshchina! What great news.

Congrats to you aeshchina!! We are still here, checking in to see how all of the Questbridge kids make out. I sure hope kyledavid80 is right. I do know that the extra work and stress you kids have endured (matched/non-matched) deserves the best of the best!! My hat is off to all of you. Good luck!

Thanks so much everyone. I’m planning on visiting if the financial aid package is sufficient.

I’m just going to wait until I hear from all my colleges and if QB isn’t checking up on us by then, I guess I’ll send them a summary e-mail.

hey! I just wanted to share a good news with you guys! I got into Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This is sooooooo awesome! I love rolling admissions haha
Although QuestBrige was mentioned in my transcript resume, I don’t think it was a huge factor. I can’t wait to see the results for QB partner colleges.

Btw, did u guys also receive an email from QB asking for help in recruiting students for the College Prep Scholarship? Are you guys going to recommend the program to your school’s sophomores and juniors?

Congratulations, harvard(Cornell?)princess! It is nice to get that acceptance in, for sure. Best wishes with the rest of your apps.

It’s fun getting to see your guys’ results.

aeshchina, my guess is that the colleges will know from fee waiver status which accepted students are QB kids, and will report that to QB. It seems like QB would get a more accurate count that way. However, I think it would be extremely nice of you to send them an e-mail with your results. I bet they would really appreciate that.

Harvardprincess: Soooo happy for you!!! BTW, how and when did you find out?

BTW, how and when did you find out?

I got the mail yesterday; it was dated March 3rd.
But I haven’t been informed of my financial aid award yet…
I hope it’s a full-ride =).
Anyways, I wish the best for you guys too!!

I seriously cannot wait for my acceptances…I just want to get into ONE good school…all im asking…

Thanks, 2blue. I might, but I got new news today (unrelated to QB…) of an early write acceptance to WashU in St. Louis. I’m not really sure where everything’s going, especially when I can’t even countdown to notification days properly, haha.

Congratulations, harvardprincess! Glad to have company on this waiting-for-financial-aid-award business. ^_^

hey guys,

few weeks ago, i received an interview request from a Princeton alumna, but she postponed it…So i emailed her today asking if we could have it as soon as possible before the admission committee starts to evaluate my application, but she said interviews are unnecessary for QB applicants…Why do you guys think we do not have to be interviewed? Is the QB application a substitution for it?

^^ Harvardprincess: how did an alumni know you were QB? I thought they were not allowed to see our files. This is too weird. I would probably call admissions for clarification. My son is QB and he had an interview with Princeton and Yale alumni.

I just found this on the Amherst website, thought it was a nice plug for Questbridge. [The Amherst Student | News | Amherst Leads the Way for QuestBridge College Match Program](http://amherststudent.amherst.edu/current/news/view.php?year=2007-2008&issue=20§ion=news&article=02)

karagon 7, she didn’t know in the beginning, but later in her second email, she said she called the admissions office and cleared up some confusion. Then, she told me that I don’t have to interviewed. So when I asked for the reason, she said since you’re a part of the QB program, interviews are unnecessary…I guess your son’s interviewer didn’t know he was a QB applicant. I just hope that not having the interview does not put me in a disadvantaged position =)

Hiya guys. I just got accepted to Grinnell College and Wesleyan University!! I just wanted to share my news to fellow Questbridge applicants^_^

Hey, Chagilsma, I got into Wesleyan too (not too pleased with the fin aid though…)!.. and for fun, I also got into UC Santa Cruz last night.

Chagilsma and aeshchina, congratulations to you both! I love reading about acceptances. Here’s hoping for some generous financial aid packages coming your way.

Nice people! I sadly got wait-listed at WUSTL. Hope i have a bunch more acceptances to look forward to.

Honestly, good luck people. The decision day seems so close and so far away at the same time.

I hope questbridge students get a big big boost. About 40 percent get accepted after everything according to the QB site…
