Wow, after that night on November 30th and not being matched to either YPS, Columbia, or Notre Dame, I honestly began to resent Questbridge and felt like another poster in that I felt it did not accomplish much. But I went ahead and decided to give a shot forwarding my application to the colleges.

Four months later, and after this weekend, I would recommend Questbridge to anyone. Seriously. It has helped me so much. I ended up forwarding my application to Notre Dame in consideration for their early action. To my surprise, I got accepted without having been matched earlier. This weekend, I received early acceptances from both Williams and Amherst, both schools that I had forwarded my application to. I didn’t expect much. When I saw the letters, I was shell shocked. Literally.

The advice I would give is that don’t put too much on getting matched. Only a small percentage do. It’s the regular decision that counts and that’s where Questbridge shines.

Thanks and YES! That’s what I’m excited about most (jk) Just I’m just happy that i can now get out of here, and see the rest of the world. Seattle and P-town are just too…Idk…calm? lol

Congrats to aeshchina, Sheed, jaw117, and Chagilsma. Although we didn’t get matched with Questbridge, we did get into some great schools.
I got into MIT, I still can’t believe it. Im waiting for a fin aid package. thanks sheed for starting this thread, it helped me get through QB.

Hamman, decisions went out on Sat, but since I was convinced I wouldn’t get in, I didn’t bother checking. So on Sunday at about 4-5 pm pacific time, I got a call from a current MIT student informing me of my admission, and their open house kinda thing for admitted studets. From USC, and the UCs I got a letter.

To the other poster: peeps on CC told me to check chicago online today, and there it was!
I also got into USC a couple days ago and that was from snail mail

:D (today’s a great day)

i also got free tickets to see obama speak on Friday…even though im not sure what i think of him it’s still awesome.

Just thought I would bump this thread back up. It was buried pretty deep.
So is there any Questbridge finalists or non finalist still waiting on decisions?
