<p>I was flipping through the 2007 application to unc. I was curious as to what the admissions officers were looking for in the Short Answer Section, where they ask you 7 questions where you are only supposed to answer with a couple words.</p>
<p>an honest answer? I think they’re just trying to get to know you.</p>
<p>haha yeah, i was confused at first too. Luxar3000 is right…they just wanna get to know you better. and when you fill them out, just be honest. for example, for the question of “which was the last book you read outside of school” or something like that, instead of writing something that you would expect them to want to see…like “tale of two cities” or whatever, i put “The Jump”, which is a biography about sebastian telfair (basketball star).</p>
