Me and some of my friends are thinking about planning to take the SATs some time this year (we are sophomores) and I was wondering if it looked bad if you took them in you sophomore year and did bad?

Thanks in advance,

No. Do not worry. I did worse than you can possibly imagine my sophomore year TWICE on the SAT. Junior year I did better but still vastly subpar. My Senior year–the last time possible for me–I did much better but still not the greatest. Dude, my SATs tenth grade were horrible—think national average. I think actually if you come from an underprivileged school (rural/urban possibly) with a low SAT score comparatively, took the test did bad and then took it again a bit later and scores so much better it will be such a an advantage as it demonstrates work ethic and determination to succeed with all of your resources given, even if minimal. Do your best, though! Good luck!

Hey, thanks! I am going to try it out. Thanks, for the advice!
