question about ACT scores and honors program

If I wanted to apply to a university EA but am still retaking the ACT but not in time to be sent in for the EA school, could I still use that new ACT score and send it in later so that I can qualify to apply for the honors program at that school or will the school only look at the ACT score I sent in EA? I’m taking the ACT Oct 25, but those scores won’t be ready in time for EA, so if I have them sent ASAP and explain this to the school, will they use my (hopefully) higher ACT score to consider me for the honors program?

bump…

Don’t worry about it! For honors college admission, they will definitely re-evaluate your application with the new ACT score. You might want to call them just in case after you have submitted the new ACT score, just to make sure you receive the fullest consideration.
