I’m a sophomore.
I wish to major in business and am hoping to attend Stanford.
I have

4.0 GPA (Non weighted)
99.6% Grade Average
Played Soccer for 4 years. (Captain in leagues)
Was in Science Olympiad for 3 years.
I don’t really have much volunteer hours, so I am thinking on doing that this year.
I also need more leadership positions.
Can you advise me on what to do in order to be a good candidate for this school?

I’m taking

AP Calculus BC
AP Physics BC
AP Writing&Composition
AP US History
Pre-AP American Literature (required for Juniors)

Honestly, you should just choose a few ECs that you are interested in and passionate about. Maybe the business club at your school? (start one if there isn’t any) And maybe something different to show you’re well-rounded. Don’t choose ECs for the sake of impressing colleges; they will know if you really care or not. Leadership positions are important but you don’t need 5 to show that you are doing something. One or two is fine. Really, it’s your essays that count above all. Good luck!

Yea, I wanted to attend Stanford School of Business after taking economics if I can attend that is…

Are my grades currently OK? I know all the applications have this grade because good academic achievements are just a “requirement” to apply for the college.
I’m hoping to take SAT next year.
