<p>If you apply to a school ED, you have to go there, right? You’re saying that you’d go there no matter what, no? Well, what if the fin aid they give you is totally crappy and you just can’t make it work? Are you forced into finding a way to go there, or do they let you go?
Is the obvious answer to not apply ED to any school if you’re from a low-income family? ED has always been kind of confusing to me.</p>
<p>If you apply ED for financial aid and the school does not offer enough to support attendance, you can say thanks but no thanks, and apply elsewhere RD. Here is the Common Application rule:
