I know on naviance and on the Syr site it says that the average GPA is a 3.6, are they implying an unweighted GPA or weighted?

Naviance is HS specific; if your naviance is showing an average GPA of 3.6 that is in reference to your particular school’s admissions history…

FWIW, at my daughter’s school, it’s 3.3UW

Runnergirl, Here are the averages from collegeboard:

39% in top 10th of graduating class
73% in top quarter of graduating class
96% in top half of graduating class

41% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
21% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
18% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49
12% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24
7% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99
1% had h.s. GPA between 2.0 and 2.49

To me, this looks like UW as to be in the top 10% at most schools you would typically need a 3.7 or so.
