Have you or anyone you known that has taken BioG 4990 had gotten anything less than an A as a letter grade? The reason I ask is that I’m signed up for 3 credits of this and I def don’t think I can really commit 12hours/week. I would go to my PI and change the credits, but I want to see if I can manage this for now.

From what I’ve heard, it depends on your PI. Just talk to him and see. I’m not in it (only a freshman) but the people I’ve talked to said you’ll get at least an A- if you do your work well and the PI likes you.

Uhh…Bump?

hmm… it’s never really a good idea to take anything because you’ll get an A or close. you will have to do plenty of work and the main reason these types of courses have high median grades is because just about everyone in there is pretty talented.

i’ve heard the same things as zfanatic, but i dont think youll have a fun time getting by if you cant fit in the work.
