<p>When I checked my Cal Grant status online, it said that my first college was UC Davis; I didn’t plan this because I probably won’t get in, so I changed it to UC Santa Cruz. The decision is currently pending. But now, I’m thinking of changing it again to Cal State Long Beach. So I guess my question is this: is there a limit as to how many times I can change the university that I plan to attend?</p>

<p>I think they first pick from the six schools that you were supposed to list on your fafsa.</p>
<p>It is best to wait. Once you know what college you will be attending, contact the Cal Grant people and let them know.</p>
<p>Right-- and remember that the awards are based on tuition at the school, so the award for a UC will be higher than an award for a Cal State school.</p>
